    • Enables factories and brands to place catalog specific orders.
  4. Workflow

    • The Wash Test Repository is an in-house digital database around wash tests conducted by the labs and maintaining the results report for heat transfer labels (HTL).
    • Launched to gain new market share and potential program expansion for future growth.
    • Feature needed to be designed for China & Vietnam users.
    • Needed centralized real time data views for all regions and production sites.
      • Easy Search Functionality
      • Reporting
  8. Layout Approval
    1. Enable role-based permissions to ensure efficient and error-free item customization.
    2. Factory customers or brand clients need to create a consolidated document with all images corresponding to SKUs for products in an order and need to be able to review it online or offline (able to download for their records)
    3. Clients also have a need to validate data only (without layout) for compliance or other reasons
    4. The reviewer of layout approval document may be a 3rd party (brand or testing lab such as Desigual, or Nike)
    5. The reviewer needs access to Approve or Reject by order line (product-level item) without extra communication with the Avery Dennison Customer Service team
    6. An order line not approved should not be released into production
    7. If an order with multiple order lines requires layout approval but only one of the lines is approved, then the order still needs to be released downstream (with the approved lines).
    8. Layout notifications may also be made available for visibility without triggering the approval workflow, i.e. for fast-fashion brands the brand may not want the order to be held before production
  9. Customer Support:
    • Designed a custom conversational AI Interface to handle self help tasks.
      1. This was another parallel project and later integrated into Marketplace.
    • Incorporated personalization and micro interactions through data analysis, user behavior and purchase history.

Another example is the Configure Price Quote (CPQ) project, where IT partnered with the Solutions Group to allow us to create items and process orders more quickly and efficiently. Each business uses the tool to drive varied outcomes. CPQ is helping to improve the cycle time in creating quotes and improving efficiency by automating and governing pricing/discounts. In Apparel Solutions, CPQ is live for all product lines. It reduces the time taken to create new variable data items from 14 to 45 days to 3 to 7 days. 20% of new variable data items will be created in CPQ starting Q3 2023, and we expect 40% productivity savings by 2025.

In Materials Group, Europe, a new Next Generation Pricing Solution intends to optimize the pricing and rebate management function. This implementation established a uniform way of handling rebate agreements. Users can access a wide range of reports and analytics, a repository of contracts and a SOX-controlled, sequential approval process for rebate schemes and payouts
